The heart stack seems like a very first draft of the Porsche Panamera. That’s not saying it’s not elegant. Gentle-touch surfaces, slim brightwork, and soft shades ensure it is greater.

We wish the powertrain weren’t so troubled by the excess weight of the Cascada. Slice off a 1000 pounds, and it will be a hotrod ragtop. Put it in a 3-door hatchback, and it would be a budget rocket.
Gaining momentum is a challenge in the Cascada, especially uphill. At 3979 kilos, it is heavier than some LaCrosse mid-size sedans, and in many cases 500 weight more than the old Chevy Cruze diesel.
